Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to read and use steinvar.com. This statement says what we have done, what we know is not right yet, and what we will do about problems.

The standard we work to
We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
Status: partially conformant, self-assessed. We have tested the site in current desktop and mobile browsers, with the keyboard alone, with reduced-motion and reduced-transparency settings, and at phone widths down to 320 pixels. It has not yet been audited by an independent specialist.
What is in place
- Every page has one main heading, headings in order and landmark regions, with a "Skip to content" link as the first thing the keyboard reaches.
- Everything can be operated with a keyboard, and the element that has focus is always visibly outlined. The product-screen tabs follow the standard tabs pattern, and the questions and answers use native disclosure controls.
- Text and controls are designed to meet the 4.5:1 and 3:1 contrast ratios in both themes, and nothing is conveyed by colour alone.
- Text is set in relative units, so it scales with your browser’s text size, and the layout reflows at any width without horizontal scrolling.
- Nothing on the page moves on its own. If your system asks for reduced motion, scroll-linked entrances are switched off; if it asks for reduced transparency, the translucent header becomes solid.
- There are no videos, no autoplaying media, no time limits and no flashing content.
Known limitations
- The miniature product screens and record examples are illustrations, not operable interfaces; a screen reader reads the text next to them instead.
- The Steinvar platform at demo.steinvar.com and eb-demo.steinvar.com is a separate application that this statement does not cover.
- We have not yet tested with every screen reader and browser combination; if something works badly in yours, please tell us which one.
Problems
If any part of this website is hard to use, tell us which page and what happened; we treat it as a defect to fix. You can reach us at hello@steinvar.com.
