Terms and conditions
The terms on which you may use steinvar.com and the Steinvar platform, including the sandbox. Please read them before you register.

Scope
These terms apply between Pinigas MB ("we") and you when you use the website steinvar.com, register for or use the sandbox, or use the Steinvar platform at demo.steinvar.com or eb-demo.steinvar.com.
If you use the platform for an organisation, you accept these terms for that organisation and confirm you may do so. Where we have signed a separate agreement with your organisation, that agreement takes precedence over these terms where they differ.
The website
You may read, link to and quote the website to understand or evaluate the platform. You may not copy its design, text or marks into another product or site, scrape it at a rate that affects its availability, or present it as your own.
The sandbox
The sandbox lets a company evaluate the platform: register, rent modules for your workplace and configure them with your own products, policies and rules. It is free and provided for evaluation only.
- Do not process real customer money or real payment instructions in the sandbox; it is not connected to a payment system.
- Do not upload personal data of real customers, or identity documents of anyone who has not agreed to it. Use test data.
- The sandbox has no service levels. We may reset, change or close a sandbox workplace, with notice where we reasonably can.
- We may close a sandbox that has been inactive for 90 days, or that breaks these terms.
Accounts and access
You must give accurate registration details and keep your credentials, security keys and passkeys to yourself. Each user signs in as themselves; shared accounts are not allowed, because the platform records who did what.
Tell us at once if you suspect someone else has access to your account. We may suspend access that we reasonably believe is compromised or misused, and will tell you why.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the platform for anything unlawful, including money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion or fraud;
- try to reach data or workplaces that are not yours, or test the platform’s security without our written permission;
- disrupt or overload the platform, or work around its limits, four-eyes controls or module rentals;
- copy, reverse-engineer or resell the platform, except as the law allows;
- upload malware, or content you have no right to use.
Modules and fees
Modules are rented per workplace. Renting a module switches on its services and screens; releasing it switches them off. Prices, billing periods and any usage charges are those shown when you rent the module or agreed in writing.
Fees are charged to a prepaid balance that you top up; card payments are processed by Stripe. Unless agreed otherwise, fees for a billing period that has started are not refunded. Nothing is charged in the sandbox unless you choose a paid module.
Your data
Data you put into the platform stays yours. We use it only to provide and secure the platform for you, and as the law requires.
Where your organisation processes personal data of its own customers or staff on the platform, it is the controller and we process that data on its behalf as processor. A data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is part of every production agreement and is available on request for pilots.
Our privacy policy explains the data we control ourselves: website visits and sandbox accounts.
Security and records
We protect the platform with the controls described on the Trust and security page, including encryption of personal data, a second factor at sign-in, access limited to your workplace and a sealed audit trail of actions. You are responsible for whom you give access to and for the roles you assign.
The audit trail records the actions of your workplace’s users and is kept for at least five years, as financial and anti-money-laundering rules expect. It cannot be edited, including by us.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the platform available and to announce planned maintenance, but outside a signed agreement we give no service-level commitment. The platform is developed continuously: we may add, change or retire features, and will give reasonable notice before removing something you rely on in production.
Intellectual property
The platform, including the CBSL software, its documentation and the Steinvar name and marks, belongs to Pinigas MB. These terms give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for as long as you are allowed access, and no other right.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
Confidentiality
Each of us keeps the other’s non-public information confidential and uses it only for the purpose it was shared for, except where the law requires disclosure.
Liability
The website and the sandbox are provided as is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data that proper backups would have prevented, and our total liability under these terms in any twelve months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, or EUR 100 where you paid nothing.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending
You may stop using the platform and close your workplace at any time. We may end or suspend your access if you materially break these terms and do not put it right within a reasonable time after we tell you, or at once where the breach is serious or the law requires it.
When access ends, we make your workplace data available for export for 30 days where the law allows, and then delete it, except records we must keep by law, such as the audit trail.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. For changes that adversely affect a production customer we give at least 30 days’ notice.
These terms are governed by the law of Lithuania, and its courts have jurisdiction, without taking away any protection the law of your country gives you as a consumer.
If a part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
